Canberra Royal Show 2016
Canberra Royal Show 2016 was a very successful event for the Emmaville team and it’s clients. Grant took 4 of his lovely horses Blackall Park Atlantis, Yakity Yak – in section 1 and Emmaville Charisma and Emmaville Define – in section 2. It was exciting to have Cloe and DJ in the same section together as they are both a very special mother and son team of home bred and trained horses. Emmaville Define placed 4th on the first day of completion, Emmaville Charisma and Blackall Park Atlantis placed equal first in the six bar and Yakity Yak came home with a 5th. All of these horses jumped very well – with many clean rounds and for the two younger horses – both stepping up to jump bigger heights. We absolutely love our horses and are very lucky to have them.
It was also very exciting to see so many Emmaville/Forest Park students competing at the show and enjoying the sport. So many of you are very dedicated to your training and work hard for your results. It is a credit to you for how much work you put in and your results do show with how well presented, performed and happy your horses are. Many of you made it to the line up and came home with top 5 placings in the Showjumping and showing. Congratulations. Another exciting part of the show was seeing so many previous Emmaville horses competing in the Showjumping and hacking arenas. We love our horses and if we could we would keep them all – but it is truly wonderful seeing them with families who take such great care of them.
