Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
To our valued clients, staff and friends,
We at Forest Park Riding School and Emmaville Performance Horses want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year! Our Emmaville team has had a very exciting year – our big move of our business, producing and competing our horses and teaching our clients and seeing them progress. We wish to thank everyone who has helped us throughout the year in our endeavours.
The year of 2016 has given us both challenges and success and we have highly enjoyed spending another year working with our beautiful horses, friends and clients. Many notable events this year with the Bega Cup, Canberra Royal, Gundagai Show, The REA NSW Showjumping Championships, Condobolin, Parkes, Cooma, ACT Showjumping Club days (including the Canberra Classic and Canberra Cup) & ACTDA Dressage Days, just to name a few. We have sold many horses in Australia and overseas this year, bought many more to add to our team, bred many beautiful foals and also brought into work many of our beautiful young progeny who we hope will excel in the future.
We wish to thank our wonderful staff for their dedication and hard work this year- juniors, boarders, grooms, riders, stable staff, office staff, instructors, trail ride staff, the lovely people behind the scenes organising paperwork and book keeping, jump painters, farriers, maintenance staff, farm workers who assist in making hay, keeping horses in paddocks and with our stallions and all other staff and friends who have made it possible for us to do what we do. Your support is highly valued and appreciated! So many of you have excelled yourselves and shown true dedication and friendship to us – we want to thank you all!
Thank you to everyone in the horse industry who assists in the well-being and care of our horses. To all of our farriers, grooms, vets, horse dentists, feed experts, chiropractors etc. - Thank you for helping keep our horses healthy and in good condition. At the same time, we must thank all of the people who help to keep us healthy and in working condition!
Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for your continued support that you have given us for the past many years! A special thank you must go to Jamie and Sandi Page from Horseland Canberra (and the lovely girls that work there!) for your continued support throughout the year! To Atechgroup (Cindy and Laslo) – part owners of ‘Yakity Yak’. Thank you to Barastoc Horse Feed for your continued support and assistance with our horse’s feed. All of your support certainly makes it possible to compete at such a high level with such a big team of horses and riders.
Thank you and congratulations to all of our clients and students for all of your dedication and hard work to excel at your chosen disciplines!! We have enjoyed working with you all and seeing you persevere and reach your many goals this year! It brings us great pleasure to watch you grow and succeed and we are always keen to keep in contact with you on how you are going in the sport. We look forward to seeing you succeed, have fun and continue to enjoy the equestrian sport for many years to come! It gives us great happiness to see our clients, friends, staff and family members enjoying the sport and overall just having fun!
A special mention must go to all of our horses who put their complete loyalty, faith and trust in us. We are blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such amazing animals and are continually amazed by the acceptance and dependability that they show us every time we work with them! They are truly remarkable animals!! We are excited to see some of our treasured horses with their new owners and wish them luck for the New Year and also excited for some of our upcoming horses who are beginning to show real talent in the jumping ring. We hope the New Year will bring success and safety.
We are looking forward to the upcoming shows with our team of horses and hope that we catch up in the New Year. Thank you all for your continued support throughout 2016 and we wish you all the best in 2017 with good health, safety and success in this wonderful sport!!
Thank you all and Merry Christmas, The Emmaville Performance Horses & Forest Park Riding School Team, Grant Hughes, Heather Hughes, Emma Hughes and Alyssa Hughes.
